Dr. Michael Zielinski
Dr. Michael Zielinski, integrative medicine physician, specializing in Alzheimer’s disease and chronic diseases.
Dr. Michael Zielinski is an integrative medicine physician who grew up in Sterling Heights. He is passionate about reversing cognitive decline because his mom suffered from Alzheimer’s.
He began his journey at Oakland University where he graduated cum laude with a degree in biology. He also received Oakland University’s Wilson Award, which is given to an outstanding senior student.
Dr. Zielinski went on to attend the Michigan College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed an internship at Oakland General Hospital and finished a family practice residency at Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona.
After returning to Michigan and gaining experience in several emergency departments, he established a family practice and urgent care center in Lapeer. There, Dr. Zielinski noticed a significant number of patients whose conditions did not improve with traditional medicine. He decided there had to be a better way to practice so he completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine program through the University of Arizona in 2017 and became a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. He has completed multiple educational modules including Reversing Cognitive Decline with Dr. Dale Bredesen, an internationally recognized expert in neurodegenerative diseases from the University of California, Los Angeles.
In addition to reversing cognitive decline, Dr. Zielinski treats and works to reverse all chronic diseases. He is passionate about providing personalized, state-of-the-art medical care for each patient. Dr. Zielinski is Fellowship trained as well as Board Certified in Integrative Medicine.
